2012-2014 Mike Dubisch Sketchbook   In this photo late film maker Roger Corman is seen flipping through the entire book. This beautiful, 4.75“ x 6.5“, or 11.5 cm x 17 cm faux leather bound book has a metal Mandala embedded in the front and is filled entirely with original pen ink drawings by fantasy illustrator Mike Dubisch. This astonishing volume contains roughly 320 original pieces of art, all on high quality acid free lightly cream colored white paper. This is a fascinating, original item, legendary filmmaker Roger Corman encountered it when he met Mike the 2019 HP Lovecraft film Festival, the late director sat and paged through the book from beginning to end. Mike Dubisch has illustrated countless books, comics, magazines and games over a thirty year career. Specializing in science fiction, horror, and fantasy, Dubisch’s art is known worldwide for its eerie atmosphere and exquisite drawing that seem to have evolved in an   Mike has published two prose collections , the Earthlings , and Gothic Nightmares, through Oddness books, and is also the author /illustrator of the graphic novels, The Crypt Kid, Weirdling , and the short story collection The Wet Nurse .  Working with author Phil Mucci, Dubisch illustrates the supernatural epic, the adventures of Professor Dario Bava .
