More Lovecraftian madness, an image that shook me out of a long creative slump and sparked a short creative bender.
This is a photo I took at a famous vista in the El Bolson area of Patagonia, Argentina. I was living with my wife and three girls in the amazing city of San Carlos De Bariloche in Argentina for the last year and a half. I've just moved back to the States, to San Diego, and I am still digesting the experience and adjusting to being back.
The works of H.P. Lovecraft are a constant sourse of inspiration for me, I make a point of re-reading several stories every year, the imagry flows out of me like stream of consiousness writing...
Here is a private commission I did for comic book lettering master Jeff Eckleberry, depicting a famous boy wizard and his friends whose name escapes me but is copyright to JK Rowling. Thanks for the chance to really stretch, Jeff!
