Back in abt 2004 writer Charles Santino approached me about collaborating with my friend legendary comic artist Joe Staton to develop an adaptation of the novel "Anarchaos." The novel is a classic SF paperback written under a pen name by the late great Donald Westlake- Joe did rough layouts for this version with a different take on the main character, Charlie and I redesigned him and I created these painted pages. The cover painting was inspired by a sketch Joe did with the character facing away- it was actually a lot cooler that way but a hard sell to publishers. This cover remained attached to the series proposal but we ended up scrapping this version of the comic pages.
